25TV Goes to the Polls

Cairo, 29th November 2011 - With recent events in Cairo’s Tahrir Square and the ongoing political turmoil in Egypt, 25TV was the first news channel to arrive on the scene. During the violent clashes between security forces and protestors, 25TV reported from both inside the Ministry of Interior and from Mohamed Mahmoud Street and presented exclusive, extensive & continuous live coverage of the events. Throughout these tumultuous events 25TV upheld its policies of unbiased and accurate reporting, and will continue to do so while providing minute-by-minute coverage of 
the news as it happens.

Such has been the importance of these events that they have affected both the international community as well as the Egyptian people who are living through them. And yet some of the most critical moments lie ahead: parliamentary elections began on Monday, elections that promise the beginning of a new era and an important step towards democracy. In accordance with our unwavering policy of integrity and impartiality, we are covering the election process from various strategic locations across the Egyptian capital, including Tahrir Square, Shubra, and Heliopolis.

During the Phase One of the vote 25TV provided coverage in cities across the country, including, Alexandria, Assiut , Cairo, Damietta,  Fayoum, , Kafr el sheik, Luxor,  Port Said,  and Red Sea.
For Phase Two, we will report from locations in Aswan, Beheira, , Beni-Soueif, Giza, Ismailiya, Munufiya, Sharqiya,  Suez and Suhag.

For Phase Three, we will report from locations in Dakahlia, Menya, El Wadi El Gedeed, Garbia, Kalioubya, Kena., Matrouh, Northen Sina and Southern Sinai.
